Our Educational Approach

There is much to be learned, taught, and seen that is not able to be experienced within the traditional classroom setting. At ADE, we believe that both students and teachers are seeking ways to take what they learned in the classroom, transform it, and apply it in the real world. In the past, ADE has hosted students of all ages from around the globe. Together we studied a plethora of different topics in the beautiful, vast, and diverse landscape that is Costa Rica. Stationed in Vara Blanca between two volcanoes along the continental divide, ADE's location gives students incredible material to study right out their window. For example, those interested in Art or Theater, can easily travel to both San Jose and Alajuela. These cities give way to breathtaking theaters, art museums, murals, street art and more that can easily complement any art curriculum. With our many connections around the country, we want to work with you to design a curriculum that will provide the best experience for your group or program.
